The Singapore Sea Brothers Salutes

to these Successful Surf Casters

Congratulations Sani and friends. Thanks to Sulaiman for the photos. Kamsani or better known Wak Sani landed this beauty on the 12th August 2009. Once again congratulations Sani for this 33 Kilos MONSTER hauled off CP7.



Gosh that fish is heavy. Salute for your hardwork fellow surfcasters.



It's a common Brown Stingray (Himantura gerrardi).



But still this Ray reigns at second place after Aras' 40 Kilos landed in the Eastern Coast.



Next is Dan from the Tackle Shop surfcasting anglers. He landed this beauty on late July this year before August. A good achievement there brother Dan for landing your second Ray this year. I'm waiting for mine. Damn it. This one goes a whopping 12 Kilos and also of the same species in common.



Here comes a MONSTER of a big sized. 18 Kilos marked on the scale. This Brown Stingray (Himantura gerrardi) strangely took blood cockles for the run on an single Apollo rig targetted for Japanese Sea Bass. Congratulation bro Vellu for this mighty magnificent catch off from an undisclosed spot in the east.



It has been a thrill this year as many anglers around Singapore are taking up this Surf Casting sports as you may see hundreds of our fellow Singaporeans pack the beaches in the weekends and public holidays targetting and hunting down this species. Congratulations and success to all anglers taking up Surf Casting .
