Every Fishing Trip Has a Story Behind It

Oops, i did it again! The fish over my Kampong are misbehaving indeed. Had a strong pulled but the drag didn't went off but the spool which have paired up with the legend Rambo lay off to its final end. After 3 years pairing up with Rambo and has brought up lots of good fishes from the lost of Great Cobia to 31 Kilos Ray to 25 Kilos to 17 Kilos and Ang Chor, etc etc. This is the most beloved i've had and hold many current records throughout 2007 till date 2009. Farewell. You bring lots of great memories and have created history in the site of the surf casting world.

The sadness didn't prolong as Salleh had a surprise pull up while having Pendulum with a dead frozen Swa Chiam caught earlier yesterday. Thanks to the Indian guy whom is a foreign worker here for 10 years and he who noticed Salleh's rod has got a bite. Its a new species by the way. Its called Brownbanded Bambooshark (Carcharhinus Melanopterus). Folks if you got this fish. Don't hesitate to cook it curry. Kudos to Abang or Haji Salleh.

Close up of the species caught. Think, this is my first time fishing there seeing someone landed this shark. More of a Nurse Shark.
