28th of June 2009

Operation

" Where the Hell is the Ray? " with Abang Isa of Team Nelayan Inc.

Over 30 plus Pasir-pasir for the next 24 hours of fishing on a choppy, hot, windy, cold and rain bashing trip.

We're looking for Monsters'.

The proper procedure.

The gathering before farewelling each other...

Arsenals' ready to be launched at certain marks.

Ministry of Defence approved and have authorised the launch with 4 or 5 commanding officers from all walks of life and sectors to join in this great hunt.

Abang! And BANG!!! Caught on my Digi Cam. Smile abit next time k Bang!

Bang! I hit the chart first unknown. A beautiful meaty Grouper suck up on my precious bait Pasir-pasir at its mercy of gulping it deep-throat.  Locally called Ikan Kerapu Bunga/Batik/Minyak etc. The Ang Moh whose now with NIMO call it Orange-spotted Grouper (Epinephelus coioides).

A couple of mugshots from this thugs'.

Man, she's waiting to be deep fried and marinate crispily with sweet & sour sauce. Yummy yum!!!

Thinking of how to penetrate deeply through these piece of land. Can our arsenals' reaches to that distance???

Rambo is in this call of duty. How delightful these could be.

Alamak!!! Goalkeeper lah Abang!!! Hahaha!!! For few seconds right after the second casting. I hit again the same fish. And both are similar in length but not that meaty like the first one.

Nice.

Look at that Pasir-pasir still in that mouth.

I love it.

As the night fall these fierce insect crawl-out hunting out of the darkness.

I was chicken-feet all day long until it appears crawling ahead of our sitting ground. Damn these Peruvian Giant Yellowleg Centipedes (Scolopendra gigantea) came out dozens on the tree barks moon bathing. Yikes!!!

Isa's turn. We're just having a hot discussion on Duri's and it appear tonight. Kuang kuang kuang!!!

Isa heading for another rod as the Duris' are getting busy on our baits.

There he goes... There he goes again... Taking on my bait... Kekekekeke... Its the Giant Sea Catfish (Plicofollis polystaphylodon).

After battling out for more than 20 hours. Our red cross came in to send some food supply and ammunitions. Thanks Pai for the red bean bun and that hot cup of hot tea. Now that really boost our morale.

We ended our battle with Johns' Snapper and snaps our line to a kilo or two Stingray on Isa's ligt tackle outfit. See you again in our next battlefront. Commander SSB & TNI signs off to the handling the Grouper for Assam Pedas MAUT.

Cut cut cut...

The body of the chop victims left lying around in the blue basin.

Striking red hot chilli pepper... Meninggal man this Assam Pedas. We'll see you in our next CR then.
