Fishing in Singapore with the Singapore Sea Brothers

Me with the old Malay Man, the whole night long chit chatting and prompting the present world current situation on how we could overcome and foresee the matters arising that we face today in the real world. It was a great night for us with those Squid lamps. The feeling of Kampong-ness is there.

I felt warm with this welcome catch as i start to kicks off with the first Unga Tanda (Lutjanus johnii.) of the night that took my prawn right after my very first cast.

I feel so blessed with the welcome of Sir Johns' Snapper.

20 minutes later my rod went down again hard. And this time it was a Brown Stingray (Himantura gerrardi). It was a tiring night for me as my muscle just heats up for some action after a long time finger exercising in my office at Changi Airport.

And i still remember during the last May Day '08, i landed this goldie beauty of solid 5.3 Kilos, Golden Trevally (Gnathanodon speciosus) aka Dem-blang (in Malay) aka Boon-nang (in Hokkien/Chinese).

I have a big foot. My shoe sized are 13 U.S. & 12.5 U.K.!!! A close up on the caught Stingray.

It went silent after these two beautiful fish was brought up right upon the studied tide that i was aiming for and last but not least of course at the presentable baiting for these 2 catches.
