Conspiracy theories are nothing more than a theory involving a conspiracy. There is nothing remarkable about testing theories - testing theories (hypotheses) within the experimental method it is the basis of empirical science. We know that people conspire - often using deception - so conspiracies are also nothing remarkable.
There are differences between what people think they do, what people say they do and what they actually do. The trick is to consider their actions - what they actually do. This also involves what they say since that is also an action and this is compared against other actions. You will notice that there is a discrepancy between New Labour's actions and their claims. This is the basis for the charge of Crypto-fascism - that New Labour are Fascists pretending to be commited to democracy.
Home Secretary John Reid had recently stated "And the challenge is this. What happens when the threat to our nation and hence to all of us as individuals, comes not from a fascist state but from what might be called fascist individuals. Individuals who are unconstrained by any of the international conventions, laws agreements or standards, and have therefore, unconstrained intent[NB]. Individuals who can network courtesy of new technology and access modern chemical, biological and other means of mass destruction, and who have therefore unconstrained capability." John Reid 'Security, freedom and the protection of our values' 9 August 2006. Try reading it again to make some sense of it. He's saying that unconstrained intent is equal to unconstrained capability. It's thoughtcrime. What a twat he is.
It has been noted that this is the same bullshit argument Tony Blair used to invade Iraq, only now applied to individuals in UK. They are declaring war on their own people (New Labour's "killing his own people" soundbite is appropriate). Fascist scum.
What is Fascism?
Fascist is often used as a term of abuse by politicians addressed at their opponents regardless of their own or their opponent's political perspective. While Fascism is commonly understood to mean opposed to justice, democracy and the rule of law, it does have a more specific meaning.
Fascism is a radical totalitarian political philosophy that combines elements of corporatism, authoritarianism, extreme nationalism, militarism, anti-anarchism, anti-communism and anti-liberalism. The original fascist (fascismo) movement ruled Italy from 1922 to 1943 under the leadership of Benito Mussolini. In time, the generic term fascism came to cover a class of authoritarian political ideologies, parties, and political systems, most notably Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler but also Hungary's Arrow Cross Party, Romania's Iron Guard, Spain's Falange and the French political movements led by former socialists Marcel Déat and Jacques Doriot and others. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fascism
Fascism was created by Mussolini 'Il Duce',
Mussolini: "First of all, as regards the future development of mankind, and quite apart from all present political considerations. Fascism does not, generally speaking, believe in the possibility or utility of perpetual peace. It therefore discards pacifism as a cloak for cowardly supine renunciation in contradistinction to self-sacrifice. War alone keys up all human energies to their maximum tension and sets the seal of nobility on those peoples who have the courage to face it."
Mussolini: "Fascism should more properly be called corporatism because it is the merger of state and corporate power."
From the definition above, Fascism involves Totalitarianism, Authoritarianism and a police-state. I've grabbed these definitions from Wikipedia.
Totalitarianism is a typology employed by political scientists, especially those in the field of comparative politics, to describe modern regimes in which the state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private behavior.
The most influential scholars of totalitarianism, such as Karl Popper, Hannah Arendt, Carl Friedrich, Zbigniew Brzezinski, and Juan Linz have each described totalitarianism in a slightly different way. Common to all definitions is the attempt to mobilize entire populations in support of the official state ideology, and the intolerance of activities which are not directed towards the goals of the state, such as involvement with labour unions, churches or political parties. Totalitarian regimes maintain themselves in political power by means of secret police, propaganda disseminated through the state-controlled mass media, regulation and restriction of free discussion and criticism, the use of mass surveillance, and widespread use of terror tactics.
That really does look like New Labour. Now, we're getting somewhere. Is New Labour totalitarian?
Control freakery? The state regulates nearly every aspect of public and private behavior?
The official state ideology is the so-called war on terrorism and Fascist Home Secretary John Reid has just recently been urging the entire population to support the war on terror. "Our security forces and the apparatus of the state provide a very necessary condition for defeating terrorism but can never be sufficient to do so on their own. Our common security will only be assured by a common effort from all sections of society"
An intolerance of activities which are not directed towards the goals of the state, such as involvement with labour unions, churches or political parties?
Authoritarianism describes a form of government characterized by strict obedience to the authority of the state, which often maintains and enforces social control through the use of oppressive measures. The term may also be used to describe the personality or management style of an individual or organization which seeks to dominate those within its sphere of influence and has little regard for building consensus.
In an authoritarian state, citizens are subject to state authority in many aspects of their lives, including many that other political philosophies would see as matters of personal choice. There are various degrees of authoritarianism; even very democratic and liberal states will show authoritarianism to some extent, for example in areas of national security.
Tony Blair, John Reid and New Labour again.
A police state is a state with authority which uses the police, especially secret police, to maintain and enforce political power, even through violent or arbitrary means if necessary. A police state typically exhibits elements of totalitarianism or other harsh means of social control. In a police state the police are not subject to the rule of law in an emergency and there is no meaningful distinction between the law and the exercise of political power by the executive.
The government with the police force does not describe itself as a "police state". Instead, it is a description assigned to a regime by internal or external critics in response to the laws, policies and actions of that regime, and is often used pejoratively to describe the regime's stance on human rights, the social contract and similar matters.
New Labour again!
I have previously accused the Labour Party of being Fascist.
There is a new form of Fascism in today's World. A Fascism that has Muslims as the main persecuted group. A new Fascism that promotes warfare and genocide as a means to achive World domination. A new Fascism that disregards international laws and deceives its own populations.
I accuse Tony Blair and John Reid's UK Labour Party of being Crypto-Fascist - meaning that they are Fascists pretending to be democratic politicians.
OPPOSE THE FASCISTS. OPPOSE NEW LABOUR.
3 October 2006 This article appears censored to some extent. Blair, Reid & Co, Fascists make their own false accusations of Fascism against others but silence accusations of Fascism against themselves. Fascist scum.
