Debt-Ridden Convicted Robber:

Just the Person to Whom Your

Tax Money Should Go to

‘Prevent Extremism’

December 1, 2008 by BNP News

A convicted robber who converted to Islam after being jailed for 12 months has been handed £10,000 funding by Midland police and council leaders as part of their campaign to ‘prevent extremism’ amongst Muslim youth.

Bilal Davis was given the cash to set up Inner-City Guidance in Birmingham to ‘prevent youth offending and radicalisation of vulnerable Muslim teenagers.’

The company is currently £10,000 in debt due to rent arrears. Mr Davis set up the firm after spending 10 years at the University of Medina in Saudi Arabia where he studied Salafi Islam. The university is hailed as a leading centre for the study of the ultra-conservative Salafi interpretation of Islam followed by Al Qaeda members.

Prior to converting to Islam, Mr Davis, who also uses the name Abu Hakeem Bilal Davis, was a member of the black Birmingham gang, Inch-Hi, which became the notorious Johnson Crew, for six years.

His latest project is struggling financially and owes more than £10,000 in rent arrears on its premises.

Mr Davis set up Inner-City Guidance in Hockley in 2005. It was funded by the Birmingham Community Safety Partnership, which is supported by the police force, the city council, West Midlands Fire Service and other bodies.

Under that scheme Inner City Guidance was given £5,000 in 2005. This week Mr Davis received another £5,000 from the city council, which is believed to have come from the equalities department.

He said he has also applied for funding from the Preventing Violent Extremism Pathfinder fund, as well as other European funds.

European Commission President:

“UK Closer than Ever to Joining Euro”

December 1, 2008 by BNP News

Does he know something we do not? The UK is “closer than ever before” to joining the euro, according to the president of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso, although he said he did not want to “break confidences.”

Speaking on a French radio show, he said British politicians were considering the move because of the effects of the global credit crunch.

Mr Barroso acknowledged “the majority” of British people continued to oppose joining the eurozone. But he said the recent economic uncertainty had made the currency a far more attractive option.

In the RTL radio/LCI television broadcast, the former prime minister of Portugal said: “We are now closer than ever before.

“I’m not going to break the confidentiality of certain conversations, but some British politicians have already told me, ‘If we had the euro, we would have been better off’.”

He said that the current poor economic situation had emphasised the importance of the euro and the UK but added he believed a move would not take place in the immediate future.

“I know that the majority in Britain are still opposed, but there is a period of consideration underway and the people who matter in Britain are currently thinking about it,” he said.

Opinion polls have suggested that any vote on scrapping the pound and adopting the euro would be lost.

Part of the reason for the NWO orchestrated recession was to get us all to accept the Euro and for the planned merger of America, Canada and Mexico to have a common currency. It is all linked to the Globalists ambition for a New World Order. We need to pull out of the E.U. NOW.

WE need a Nationalist Government that cares about OUR people. Britain is at the fore front of this Globalist conspiracy, the traitors Gordon Brown and David Milliband are selling us out to the Saudis to further the Islaminification of our Country. What better way to control a slave population? J.H.

Pro-Labour Supporter Arrested

for Attack on BNP

Member’s House

December 1, 2008 by BNP News

In an incident linked by police to the leaked BNP membership list, a pro-Labour supporter has been arrested following an abortive attack on a BNP member’s house in Leeds.

The arrest — the first of many being planned by police — took place during the early hours of the morning of 28 November.

The individual in question, whose name is known to BNP News, has been charged with causing criminal damage and will be appearing before Leeds Magistrates Court on 5th December.

“He will be pleading guilty as charged,” said Peter Hollings, Leeds organiser. “The really interesting bit about his statement is that he has admitted to having been given our member’s details via a ‘friend’ who in turn had obtained our member’s details directly from the leaked membership list.

“It is my view that there should be further charges to answer here so far as certain militant left-wing organisations are concerned, especially when you consider that at least one of these organisations has stated that the publication of the membership list was not intended to incite violence ‘and nor would it’,” Mr Hollings said.

“Clearly the events have proven that incitement to violence has occurred.”

Mr Hollings said the arrest was good news for the BNP members who had been subjected to harassment over the past week or so, in that police were acting against the thugs responsible for the attempted intimidation.

In his response to the arrest, BNP leader Nick Griffin said he was happy that police were doing their duty up and down the country to root out those attempting to criminally harass BNP supporters.

“Several other premises are under observation elsewhere in the country, which are not linked to the Leeds incident,” Mr Griffin said. “We are confident that further arrests will follow as the evidence is processed in due course.”

Christians Being Driven from

Iraq as Islamist Violence

Increases

December 1, 2008 by BNP News

Christians who doubt warnings about the future of their religion once Britain becomes Islamified, need only take heed of the lesson of modern Iraq.

There, since the American-British invasion, radical Islamists have infiltrated that society and are actively killing and driving out that nation’s ancient Christian community.

According to an article published by Ecumenical News International, persecution of Christians in Iraq has stepped up dramatically and tens of thousands have fled under threat of death.

The family of 60-year-old Basil Mati Koriya Kaktoma and his wife, Ekram Ishak Buni Safar, aged 55, have lived in Syria since July 2006. Refugees such as these are adamant they will never return to their homeland given their experience of threats, physical abuse and, in the case of Kaktoma, a week-long abduction by Muslim gunmen Kaktoma believes targeted him because he is Christian.

“I’d rather go to hell than go back to Iraq,” Kaktoma said in a recent interview in the family’s cramped apartment in Damascus. “What I saw was so horrible that I can’t even look at a map of my own country.”

Syrian-based leaders of the Chaldean Catholic Church, to which Kaktoma belongs, acknowledge the painful and paradoxical situation Christian institutions face because of the sectarian nature of violence in Iraq.

While they want the Church to remain in Iraq, which is a country with one of the oldest Christian communities in the world, the leaders believe the long-term outlook for a church presence in Iraq is precarious.

Christian leaders acknowledge the situation for Christians in Iraq is hard and dispiriting. More than 200 Iraqi Christians have been killed since 2003, and dozens of churches, including the Baghdad church which Kaktoma, Safar and their four children once attended, have been bombed.

Anywhere from one-third to a half of the 800 000 Christians who lived in Iraq at the beginning of the war are believed to have fled the country.

For Kaktoma, a retired oil company employee, any future must be as far away as possible from the site of his eight-day May 2006 abduction. The trauma included an assault, which broke his right leg and permanently discoloured it. Kaktoma’s release was made possible when relatives in the United States and Canada paid a ransom.

Speaking for her entire family about their past and future, Safar said: “Iraq is finished.”

India lashes out at old enemy

Concern grows of military build-up on border between India and Pakistan

By Andrew Buncombe
Monday, 1 December 2008

Military tensions flared up yesterday between India and Pakistan as the nuclear-armed neighbours engaged in a display of sabre-rattling in the aftermath of the Mumbai terror attacks that have left at least 170 people dead.

With bodies still being recovered from the battle-scarred interior of the Taj Mahal hotel and with the Indian authorities saying that most, if not all, of the 10 gunmen responsible came from Pakistan, Delhi announced that it was raising security to a "war level". In response, Pakistan said that any escalation would force it to redeploy troops battling militants in tribal areas to positions along its eastern border with India.

Although the dispute shows no signs of reaching the level it was in 2002, when the two countries came perilously close to conflict, the statements reflect the anger and a sense of helplessness in India about the attacks that struck at its soft underbelly.

The Indian government, which faces elections within months, will be keen to use criticism of Pakistan to divert attention from its own failure to prevent the attacks. Yesterday, the Congress Party-led administration announced that the Home Minister and the national security advisor were to be replaced. It was also claimed that the authorities had failed to act on a number of intelligence warnings that an attack in Mumbai might be imminent.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, who chaired an all-party meeting to discuss the situation, said there would be an overhaul of India's counter-terrorism capabilities. Addressing criticism that the National Security Group elite commandos took almost 10 hours to get to Mumbai from Delhi, he said that, from now on, the strength of the so-called Black Cats would be boosted and they would be stationed in four cities. He also said that air and sea security would be improved.

"We share the hurt of the people and their sense of anger and outrage," he said in Delhi. "Several measures are already in place. But clearly much more needs to be done and we are determined to take all necessary measures to overhaul the system."

US officials are attempting to ease the tensions between India and Pakistan. The US Secretary of State, Condoleezza Rice, flies to Europe for talks in London with the Foreign Secretary, David Miliband, today and will travel to India on Wednesday.

Washington will particularly want to prevent Pakistan being distracted from the military operations it is carrying out against militants in the north-west of the country. Under pressure from the Bush administration, the Pakistani military has been engaged in major operations against militants that are blamed for carrying out cross-border attacks against Western troops in Afghanistan. The US will do all it can to ensure those operations continue.

While India has not accused the Pakistani government of direct involvement in the attacks, it has said it believes the 10 gunmen involved – including the sole militant taken alive, Azam Amir Qasab – belonged to the Pakistan-based militant group Lashkar-e-Toiba, which has previously been linked to elements within Pakistan's ISI military intelligence agency.

Last night, a senior Mumbai police officer, the Joint Crime Police Commissioner Rakesh Maria, said the militants involved were from a "a hardcore group in the LeT".

Earlier a US counter-terrorism official said that some "signatures of the attack" were consistent with the organisation and another militant group that has been active in the disputed Kashmir region.

Amid such apparent evidence, some officials have used the opportunity to rally against India's neighbour. "We will increase security and strengthen it at a war level like we have never done it before," said Sriprakash Jaiswal, India's Minister of State for Home Affairs. "They can say what they want, but we have no doubt that the terrorists had come from Pakistan."

Pakistani officials have continued to offer support to India. A senior ISI official is due to visit the country. Husain Haqqani, Pakistan's US Ambassador, said: "Pakistan is a victim of terrorism. India is a victim of terrorism. The victims need to get together. Forget about our bitter history."

Reports suggest that interrogation of Qasab had revealed extensive planning and preparation for the attacks and that the militants had hoped to "kill up to 5,000 people".

As police continued to retrieve bodies from the Taj hotel, the Trident-Oberoi remained sealed off.

But another site of an attack by militants – the Cafe Leopold – briefly reopened. The famous tourist restaurant was one of the first attacked and was opened for the first time since the violence but was then quickly closed by police who said it had not obtained the required permission.

"I want [the attackers] to feel we have won, they have lost," said the restaurant's manager Farzad Jehani. "We're back in action."

Mumbai terrorist: I was ordered

to kill 'until the last breath'

The sole Mumbai gunman captured alive has told police he was trained in Pakistan and ordered to “kill until the last breath”, according to a leaked account of his interrogation.

Azam Amir Kasab, 21, a Pakistani national, claimed the terror strikes, which left nearly 200 dead, were intended to kill as many as 5,000 people and that he and his fellow militants were ordered to target whites – especially Britons and Americans. The claims were made in what a police source said was a transcript of his questioning.

Kasab was captured after being shot in the hand by police in a standoff near Chowpatty beach, a popular evening destination for local families, in south Mumbai (formerly known as Bombay) on Wednesday night. A policeman and one other terrorist were killed in the same encounter.

Earlier, Kasab and his accomplice had sprayed the concourse of Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai’s main train station, with gunfire, killing indiscriminately. While there, he was caught on camera wielding an automatic rifle.

The photographs of the boyish gunman, wearing combat trousers, trainers, a black t-shirt and a blue haversack stuffed with ammunition, promise to become a defining image of the assault on Mumbai, the deadliest terror strike unleashed in India in 15 years.

In a statement, Kasab said he had been trained by Lashkar-e-Toiba, a well-known Pakistani-based militant group that has been linked to several operations carried on Indian soil. The group is thought to have been behind the 2001 attack on the Indian Parliament in Delhi, where terrorists stormed the building with guns and grenades, taking hostages as part of a suicidal mission.

The statement said: “I was trained by militants of the Lashkar-e-Tayiba in Pakistan for three months and asked to cause maximum casualties in Mumbai.”

Police said that each terrorist was given 6-7 magazines with 50 bullets, eight hand grenades, an AK-57 rifle, an automatic revolver and a supply of dry fruits. Kasab was taken to hospital after his arrest. Reports said he pleaded with staff not to be allowed to die.

A British security source said it was too early to be sure of the statement’s veracity. There will be apprehension, however, over the reputation of the Mumbai police to place undue pressure on suspects in custody.

It is thought that early questioning was carried out by officers from Bombay’s Anti-Terrorism Squad and that experts in areas such as terrorist tactics and financing will be drawn in later.

Ajit Doval, a former head of India’s Intelligence Bureau told The Times it was unlikely that Kasab had yet being given “the third degree” – a term that can mean anything from arm twisting to a severe beating and torture, methods commonly employed by Indian police. “This is far too high profile a case for anything illegal or any undue pressure tactics to take place during questioning,” he said. “It is not as if this guy can protest his innocence.”

It is possible, however, that Kasab, who was being held in Mumbai’s Lamington Road police station, could be administered a “truth serum” -- sodium pentothal -- another method used widely in India but banned in most democracies.

A document filed by the Mumbai police on the basis of the interrogation says that Kasab and his accomplices were trained for three months before a month’s break. During further training, the group was taught how to hijack a vessel at sea. The statement added that the terrorists were indoctrinated by being shown images of “atrocities on Muslims in India”.

Kasab is said to have admitted sailing from the port city of Karachi, in Pakistan. About midway through the journey to Mumbai, police believe the terrorists hijacked a second boat, a 14-metre fishing vessel, which was later found off the coast of Mumbai with one dead body aboard – that of a crew member whose throat was cut. Four or five other crew members had been killed and dumped overboard.

Finally, the terrorists used inflatable dinghies to make their way on shore. Local witnesses said that they saw a small inflatable boat carrying at least eight men, now believed to have been the terrorists, landing at the Badhwar Park area of Colaba just before the first attacks took place. When one local fisherman confronted the men they levelled their guns at him and said “humko tension hai” (we are feeling very tense).

A thousand businesses

collapse in trading gloom

A thousand businesses have collapsed during the last year, and experts are predicting more failures after a tough Christmas.

More than 1,000 retail businesses have collapsed during the past year, with more failures expected due to poor Christmas trading.

Some 1,087 non-food retail businesses have collapsed in the 12 months to the end of November, a 17pc increase since last year, according to business research company Experian.

These figures include Woolworths and MFI, which went into administration last week. Matthew Sherwood, chief economist at Experian, said there was "little relief in sight" for hard-pressed retailers. "This downturn has much further to run and UK shoppers will be watching their pennies in the year ahead," he said.

Retailers said that the 2.5 percentage point cut in VAT that comes into force today will not have a significant impact on their businesses.

Stephen Robertson, Director General of the British Retail Consortium (BRC), said that the VAT cut would have "a very, very modest effect" on sales. "It is not enough to kickstart the economy," he said.

" The run up to Christmas will be desperately hard - and this will be a dismal quarter."

Patrick Lewis, John Lewis' director of retail operations, said: "Every little reduction helps, but with the current state of the market, this will not have a dramatic effect. "

He was speaking as the retailer announced that its department store sales fell 13pc in the week to November 29 compared to the same period in 2007. That makes the second consecutive 13pc weekly fall.

The company has already passed on the VAT cut several days early, but Mr Lewis said the collapse of Woolworths and MFI had hit consumer confidence.

Retailers are slashing prices by as much as 70pc. A BRC spokesman said companies were taking huge hits to their margins in order to get shoppers through the door. "They are squeezing margins, because their costs are still going up," he said.

Figures calculated for the Daily Telegraph by accountants Ernst & Young showed that, with more than three weeks until Christmas, the average item in shops has been discounted by 20.13pc, the first time it has ever breached the 20pct barrier before the end of November.

Simon Wolfson, chief executive of Next, has said that Alistair Darling's decision to slice VAT from 17.5pc to 15pc, will not have the desired effect, claiming the move "defies all economic logic".

"The change will be administratively expensive, do nothing to stimulate demand and leave few feeling any better off," he said.

Sir Stuart Rose, chairman and chief executive of M&S, said: "The timing was not helpful, but I don't want to pass judgement yet. Only time will tell." M&S has already had a one-day 20pc off sale and is expected to have another this week.

Woolworths' administrators confirmed yesterday that they had held talks with a range of parties, understood to include Theo Paphitis, the Dragon's Den star, and property developer Ardeshir Naghshineh,.

TOUGHER ALCOHOL LAWS TO REIN IN

DRUNKEN BRITAIN

Story Image

BATTLE: Pubs, clubs and shops face a ban on “irresponsible” price offers

Monday December 1,2008

STRICTER laws to battle binge-drinking will be unveiled today in a bid to end what Home Secretary Jacqui Smith called scenes of “people lying on the pavements and being sick”.

Pubs, clubs and shops face a ban on ?irresponsible? price offers and will be forced to offer smaller glasses after ministers said a voluntary code had failed.

Police will also get tougher powers to confiscate alcohol from youngsters and fine them and to prosecute retailers who sell drink to underage shoppers.

Fines for drinking in public in around 600 town centres where it is banned will rise from ?500 to a maximum ?2,500.

Ms Smith said the kind of promotions she wanted outlawed were the ?drink as much as you can? for a set price, as well as those offering free drink to women and games that encouraged binge-drinking.

The new code could also force all outlets to display the number of alcohol units in products.

?I don?t think any of us want to have our city centres with people lying on the pavements and being sick,? Ms Smith told BBC1?s Andrew Marr Show.

But Shadow Home Secretary Dominic Grieve said extended licensing hours were to blame.

?Labour?s response has simply been to pass more laws and regulations which they then fail to enforce. This is more of the same,? he said.

Industry body the Portman Group defended self-regulation. Chief executive David Poley said Britain?s system was ?world class? and should be championed, not abolished. Dozens of ?irresponsibly marketed? drinks had been removed from sale and more than 1,500 products and promotions scrutinised before launch.

The task was to make drunkenness as socially unacceptable as drink-driving by enforcing existing laws, he said.

However, the Government is thought to have retreated from some measures including a ban on supermarkets selling heavily discounted drink because of fears it would alienate voters in the economic downturn.

Liberal Democrat culture spokesman Don Foster said the package failed to tackle the real problem of ?pocket money priced alcohol in our supermarkets and off-licences? and called for minimum prices for alcohol.

NEW FUEL TAX HITS DRIVERS

Story Image

DARLING: Chancellor will rake in £1.4m a week by stealth

Monday December 1,2008

By Mark Reynolds

MOTORISTS will today be hammered by a £1.4million-a-week stealth tax on petrol, condemned by critics as “shocking Government greed”.

The AA said the 2p rise in fuel duty ushered in today will not be cancelled out by last week?s VAT cut.

This damning indictment of New Labour?s handling of our finances comes despite Chancellor Alistair Darling?s promise that the overall cost to the consumer would be the same.

The duty increase ? the first of three set to hit the nation?s already beleaguered motorists ? will see the Government raking in an extra ?200,000 a day.

At a time of falling prices, it also means that the Government is now taking 70 per cent of the price of a litre of petrol in tax. AA president Edmund King said: ?While petrol retailers continue to pass on cuts in the wholesale price and some, like Shell, have said they will absorb the extra duty, the Government will get at least an extra third of a penny tax from each litre of petrol, nearly ?200,000 extra a day.

?This will be the first of three tax rises on petrol between now and January 1, 2010. In April fuel duty will go up a further 1.84 pence a litre and then the whole litre price will go up 2.5 per cent at the start of 2010 when VAT returns to its previous level.?

The first 2p-a-litre rise comes as the Chancellor ends a freeze on duty and increases the flat-rate tax from 50.35p to 52.35p a litre.

Mr King added: ?The fuel duty increase at a time when OPEC is looking to reduce production is worrying.

?From today the tax on petrol will be more than 70 per cent a litre so, if global costs start going up, the road user will be hit again. The Chancellor is giving with one hand and taking away even more with the other. Increasing fuel duty while reducing VAT shows that the Chancellor is playing roulette with global fuel prices and could lose his gamble.?

Other motoring groups also attacked the move. An RAC spokesman said: ?Motorists are going to be outraged.

?This increase is even more galling after the Government?s public calls for fuel companies to pass on savings.? By raising duty today, Mr Darling breaks a pledge that there would be no increase before April, having insisted he would only ?look at the matter again in the Budget?.

Matthew Elliott, of the TaxPayers? Alliance, said: ?This is a shocking example of Government greed. When taxpayers are struggling to make ends meet, it is outrageous for the Government to deprive them of any potential savings.

?Letting people benefit from the VAT cut would have made a real difference to households and this move shows a total disconnection from the needs of families.?

Motorists had briefly been enjoying the benefits of lower prices since the summer.

In recent months, the cost of filling an average 50-litre family car dropped from ?59.85 to ?47.26, a saving of ?12.59. Diesel drivers have seen the cost of filling up fall from ?66.63 in mid-July to ?54.33, a ?12.30 saving.

So what exactly DID Jacqui Smith

know about arrested Tory

MP Damian Green?

By Benedict Brogan
Last updated at 1:34 AM on 01st December 2008

  • Tories cast doubt on Home Secretary's claim that she wasn't told of MP's arrest
  • Even Cabinet colleagues are 'appalled' over how fiasco has been handled
  • Now there's fury at police accusation that shadow minister 'groomed' mole

Cabinet Ministers turned their wrath on Jacqui Smith last night in the storm over the arrest of a Tory MP.

The Home Secretary's refusal to apologise plunged the Government deeper into a constitutional crisis.

Gordon Brown faced growing calls to speak up for the independence of Parliament while Tories kept up the pressure on Miss Smith by effectively accusing her of lying about what she knew in advance of Damian Green's arrest.

Tory MP Damian Green

was held for nine hours. Home
Secretary Jacqui Smith has
defended the police action

There was also outrage that police accused Mr Green of 'grooming' a Whitehall mole - a word seen as highly offensive.

Cabinet Ministers said privately that they had been 'horrified' and 'appalled' by the heavy-handed way Mr Green was held. One told the Daily Mail: 'It is scarcely believable that we find ourselves defending a police force that behaves in such an extraordinary way'.

Harriet Harman distanced herself from the Home Secretary by calling for a Commons inquiry and admitting she was 'very concerned' about the principles at stake.

Westminster has been in turmoil since Thursday, when Mr Green was arrested after 20 officers from the Metropolitan Police counter-terrorism command staged four simultaneous raids on his homes and offices.

But Miss Smith stubbornly refused to condemn the treatment of David Cameron's migration spokesman, insisting that Ministers' first duty was to 'uphold the independence of police'.

She also denied knowing that the Home Office leak inquiry was targeting a Tory MP.

But she and Mr Brown faced cross-party uproar - and the prospect of a Commons disruption to Wednesday's Queen's Speech - over the Speaker's decision to let police raid Mr Green's parliamentary office.

On another day of anger and confusion at Westminster:

  • Scotland Yard went into 'meltdown' as senior officers questioned the decision to target Mr Green;
  • Mr Brown was under scrutiny for his record of flaunting the Civil Service leaks he obtained when he was in Opposition MP;
  • David Cameron called on the Prime Minister to condemn the police and speak up for Parliament;
  • Miss Smith was forced to deny authorising wiretaps of Mr Green's phones and emails after the Tories revealed they regularly sweep their offices for listening devices

Police sources said Chris Galley, the junior Home Office civil servant arrested earlier last month on suspicion of leaking to Mr Green, passed him at least 20 documents.

Miss Smith's denial of any advance knowledge was swiftly challenged by Shadow Home Secretary Dominic Grieve, who came close to accusing her of lying.

Mr Grieve said: 'The most important is about what the Home Secretary knew.

'I found her answers extremely unconvincing. I think she knew that there was an MP involved in this investigation and she just decided to sit back on her hands.

Mahood

'She is the person who is ultimately accountable to Parliament for police failings, if it turns out - which I think it may well do - that these failings were the police barking up the wrong tree in pursuing an MP doing his legitimate job, then I think she has got a great deal to answer for to Parliament.'

Labour MP David Winnick called on Miss Smith to make a statement on Wednesday to explain the police action.

Mr Green was held for nine hours over suspicions that he conspired with Mr Galley to obtain secret documents.

The MP had been quoted in three of the four newspaper stories at the centre of the investigation. Friends of Mr Green, who spent the weekend at home with his wife Alicia and two daughters, said he was 'absolutely shattered by this'.

But one added: 'He is not going to be deterred. He is feeling stronger than ever, and is outraged by the police's attempts to provoke him by using the term "grooming".'

The word was used during the MP's questioning by detectives, apparently in an attempt to provoke him.

Mr Cameron accused Mr Brown of hypocrisy after 'making a career out of Whitehall leaks' himself. He said: 'When it comes to vigorous opposition, if this approach had been in place in the 1990s, then Gordon Brown would have spent most of his time under arrest.'

Miss Harman said she was 'very concerned' over the police action and added: 'We have to be sure that while MPs are not above the law, they are able to get on with their job without unwarranted interference by the law.'

Songs of Provocation

The Buskers before the big split when
Tom took his dog and went solo

By Albion

It is Christmas time and already the disturbing spectre of Nationalism is raising its ugly head. It manifested itself with the arrival of two itinerant buskers singing and playing songs which the Police deemed ‘Songs of Provocation’ A news report stated that two men had been arrested for breaches of the racial crimes act and are now awaiting charges of a serious nature.

A police spokes-lady said the duo had already been cautioned earlier that morning for singing ‘I’m dreaming of a white Christmas’ outside of the curry shop ‘Mohammed’s Kitchen’ in the high street near the bus shelters. She added this sort of overt racism will not be tolerated in our multicultural society.

The duo, a politically active tenor banjoist and his accomplice, a mouth organ player were singing a collection of English folk songs and Christmas Carols in the Kingston Mall.

A small crowd of amused onlookers had assembled and were actively involved in a sing-a-long, when the security forces surrounded the area. The Buskers had already sung ‘Nuts for You’ and ‘Ding Dong Merrily on High’ and were into the third verse of ‘Jerusalem’.

A man of Asian appearance had earlier rung the police on his mobile phone to complain of their choice of songs.

It was later confirmed that he also rang the BBC News and Current Affairs Dpt, The Sun Tabloid, The Guardian, The News of the World, several local newspapers and had also alerted Channel Four TV, sent a text message to the head office of the Moslem Council of Great Britain, and finally sent a brief message of good wishes to his brother’s third wife in Islamabad, who by coincidence is his first cousin............... if that makes any sense.

The police said the offenders had also built a Styrofoam model of a Snowman holding out a tray for donations.

A police inspector said this act in itself was indeed blatant provocation and will not be tolerated, he went on to warn political agitators against committing hate crimes and that they will institute zero tolerance in matters as serious as this.

On the receipt of the mobile alert the police were quick to respond; two paddy wagons and three police cars were dispatched along with ten policemen and two Police ladies all wearing stab proof vests, and armed with Mace and Tasers. With sharp shooters from the Police Quick Response Group standing by, two large Police ladies were sent in to wrestle the two miscreants to the ground.

The banjo player was fortunate in that his instrument was undamaged although he did lose his pick down the drain. The mouth organ player however was not so fortunate; he was devastated to discover his mouth organ was damaged beyond repair and he is now seeking redress by claiming punitive damages from the Police Service as he had only purchased the instrument new from a Pound Shop earlier that morning. He said he is also initiating claims for considerable damages for loss of earnings, impairment of hearing, stress, lower back pain and repetitive strain injury.

Passers by said they overheard the heavily armed Police quizzing the pair as to whether they were members, supporters or sympathisers of the British National Party and were raising questions about ‘lists’ The irate musicians refused to give any details of their political affiliations other than to say, quote “its none of your f*****g business” which did not go down too well with the men in blue…. and yellow; I should have pointed out earlier they had full riot gear on.

Rumours are rife that the men are being detained and will be transported to a secret location; a small police station on an island in a Scottish Loch, close to the Isle of Lewis, with the purpose to forcibly obtain DNA samples and fingerprints and to establish their political credentials

A young, effeminate news reporter sweating profusely asked excitedly, if torture will be applied, as is customary in cases such as this, to gain information.

The Police Commisioner was quick defend the police action and to point out that people are receiving the wrong message and that torture is NOT mandatory, and he personally defended his position by pointing out that torture will be only be considered as a last resort during the interrogation, using the well established method of applying extreme and painful pressure to various parts of the accused bodies.

He added “I hope that in the fullness of time an information brochure will be sent to all households to explain the Police ground rules on the use of torture. We have nothing to hide and in a democratic society such as ours I would like to stress we are obliged to be ever mindful of the concerns of the population, so we try to alleviate any misconceptions that we use torture for torture’s sake, WE DON’T! I repeat, we do NOT torture ad hoc, there are stringent guidelines to adhere to, although I can’t speak for all my men. I hope that clears the air

He added crimes like this are a matter of national security, and that undercover officers of an indeterminate black colour from the CRE will be ever vigilant for breaches of the Racial Crimes Act.

It was suggested that if people must sing Christmas carols that could be misconstrued as having racist connotations it might be more prudent of them to sing them in the privacy of their own homes.......... quietly.

All school choirs particularly those in cities and towns which are predominately populated by immigrants seeking sanctuary and thus having a substantial number of children of colour and sporting exotic eastern cultures have been issued with guidelines and a list of Christmas carols that the authorities deem inoffensive and appropriate in this day and age in a wonderful, gentle, sophisticated, diverse multicultural society such as ours.

Liverpool ¨C Personal Reflections

on a Day of Triumph

November 30, 2008 by George Fanning

When the annals of British nationalism come to be written, the events of November 29th will surely merit their own page in that history.

Every one of the hundred and fifty BNP men and women who set out for Liverpool in the pre-dawn fog of freezing morning knew full-well that they faced arrest and ill-treatment at the hands of a British police force out of control.

These were one hundred and fifty people with families, jobs and mortgages, who said tearful goodbyes to their loved-ones that

morning in the expectation that they would not return in the evening, and that their homes might be invaded and searched, just as Tory Damian Green¡¯s home was violated, by Labour¡¯s political police.

There are other political parties, for sure, who could turn out one hundred and fifty activists, even on a chill wintery day. But perhaps only the British National Party boasts one hundred and fifty stout hearts willing to risk all they hold dear in the cause of freedom.

Thankfully, all our dark fears proved ill-founded.  As we arrived in Liverpool, the jubilant ¡°Liverpool 13¡å greeted us with news that the police and Crown Prosecution Service had backed down, the triumph was won and the enemy had already fled the field.

The mood changed abruptly from silent and grim-faced determination, to celebratory smiles and back-slapping congratulations.

Few doubted that if the authorities had persisted with their pretence that the ¡°Racism Cuts Both Ways¡± leaflets were illegal, then Nick Griffin and his followers would all be arrested for distributing them that day. The media would undoubtedly have linked Nick¡¯s arrest to that of Tory Damian Green and drawn adverse conclusions about the malevolence of Labour.   But ultimately, Labour¡¯s nerve failed them and they clearly decided that political martyrdom was a gift to the BNP which they could not afford to give.

So the one hundred and fifty carried their flags proudly to the appointed place and made their stand, armed with the truth and with BNP leaflets by the thousand.  And the fine reception they received from the warm-hearted people of Liverpool was just reward in itself for their efforts.

The BNP activists at Liverpool seemed a distillation of all that is still Great about Britain.  The public saw ex-servicemen with medals worn proudly on their chests. There were professional men in suits, accountants and businessmen, whose briefcases bulged with BNP leaflets.  There were middle-class ladies with the accents of Somerset and Surrey, and working-class lads from the Lancashire mill towns.  Here stood fashion-conscious young girls in their high-heeled boots, and frail grey-haired old men, who fought for their country long ago and were prepared to do so again, just one last time.

All of them conducted themselves with exemplary restraint and good-humour, ignoring the distant moronic chants of the Labour mob, and they stuck to their purpose of handing out leaflets with quiet British resolution.  The BNP is proud of them all, and one day soon, our nation will be proud of them too.

On this day of triumph, even Merseyside police seemed utterly transformed.   The courteous and impartial police officers of yesteryear, who inspired and deserved our respect, unexpectedly reappeared.  Smart and professional officers committed to protecting the peaceful and innocent, and arresting the violent and guilty, seem so rare these days that, in truth, the transformation came as a shock.  Our thanks and ¡°three cheers¡± for the ordinary Merseyside police officers who did their duty so creditably that day were both genuine and well-deserved.

There are many lessons of Liverpool, but the greatest of all is this: men and women of stout heart can still prevail against the powers-that-be.  We may face an Establishment enemy of daunting might, but he is an enemy too with a nervous twitch in his cheek, a quaver in his voice and sweat on his brow.

With the ¡°Liverpool 13¡å now happily free to enjoy an untroubled Christmas with their families, we may look back on our remarkable day out in Liverpool as the moment the tide of fortune turned in our favour.

Mumbai Terrorists Told to

“Kill Whites, Especially

British and Americans”

November 30, 2008 by BNP News

The sole surviving terrorist of the Mumbai attacks has told interrogators that he was instructed to “kill whites, especially British and American tourists” before taking hostages.

Azam Amir Kasab, 21, from Pakistan, said the attacks were planned six months ago and were intended to kill 5,000 people. Surviving the massacre after trying to flee, the Pakistani-born terrorist has made a full confession to police.

He revealed that the ten terrorists, who were highly trained in marine assault and crept into the city by boat, had planned to blow up the Taj Mahal Palace hotel after first executing British and American tourists and then taking hostages.

He described how its mastermind briefed the group to “target whites, preferably Americans and British.”

Kasab described how he and an accomplice sprayed machine-gun fire around a busy railway station, killing dozens of people, before intending to move to the exclusive district of Malabar Hill, where they planned to “take VIPs hostage.”

Four men went to the Taj hotel, two to the Jewish centre of Nariman House, Kasab and another man set off by taxi towards the railway station, and two headed for the Leopold restaurant.

While his colleagues were executing hostages at the Taj, Kasab and Ismail first opened fire with their assault rifles at around 10.20pm, killing dozens of people standing at Chhatrapati Shivaji railway station.

Then they hijacked a police 4×4, killing the two officers inside. Kasab told investigators they continued their killing spree by attacking a petrol station and blowing up a taxi before being stopped.

“I have done right,” he told investigators. “I have no regrets.”

At least 22 foreigners are known to have died, including victims from Germany, Japan, Canada, Australia, Italy, Singapore, Thailand and France. It is expected that the final death toll will be over 300.

Claims that up to seven of the terrorists could have been British men of Pakistani origin, who had connections to West Yorkshire, were being widely discounted.

A top Indian official, Maharashtra state chief minister Vilasrao Deshmukh, said that there was “no authentic information” to suggest that any British citizens were involved, contradicting an earlier claim he had made.

An earlier news report said that one of the terrorists had been working at the Taj hotel as a kitchen porter for up to eight months before the attacks and had produced a British passport during his job interview. This was strongly denied by the hotel management.

* A banned Islamic terrorist group funded with cash raised in British mosques is believed to be behind the Mumbai attacks.

Kashmiri separatists Lashkar-e-Taiba, ‘The Army of the Righteous’, which has strong links to Al Qaeda, is accused of previous terrorist outrages in India.

Intercepted telephone and radio communications before and during the latest attacks apparently suggest a link. Indian officials say at least one of the gunmen captured after the attacks is part of a Lashkar network.

Lashkar-e-Taiba has been blamed for violence throughout India, including the 2001 attack on the Indian Parliament building in New Delhi and a strike at an amusement park in Hyderabad in 2007. It is accused of being behind a series of train bombings in Mumbai in 2006, which claimed almost 200 lives.

In 2006, a Coventry-based Muslim was sentenced to nine years in jail for conspiring to provide funds for its terrorist activities.

*It has also been reported that British Intelligence (the same ones who blame whites for Islamic extremism) bosses are set to launch a probe into suspected links between Birmingham-born militant Rashid Rauf and the Mumbai terror attack.

Security forces in India will examine connections between two Islamist Kashmiri groups thought to be behind the Mumbai assault, which has claimed almost 200 lives, and Rauf, who was known to be a member of both terror groups.

Rauf, 27, from Ward End, Birmingham — an Al Qaeda suspect said to be the “key player” behind the alleged liquid bomb plot to blow up transatlantic airliners — was killed in a missile strike last Saturday in North Western Pakistan by an unmanned US drone.

Sources have now revealed that he was planning a major attack at the time of his death, and that the Mumbai murders show all the hallmarks of one of Rauf’s “terror spectacular” plots.

The Indian Mujahidin, which carried out a blast in Delhi in September and warned that they would strike next in Mumbai, is understood to have been behind this week’s terror outrage.

The group is made up of several different militant organisations, the most dangerous of which are the Pakistani-based Kashmiri “freedom” movements Lashkar-e-Toiba (LET) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM). Rauf was known to have strong links to both organisations.

He married a relative of JEM’s founder and worked with LET to train British jihadis who travelled to Pakistan. London 7/7 bombers Shehzad Tanweer and Mohammed Siddique Khan both studied at an LET madrassa near Lahore in 2004.

The electronic attack was so serious that Adm Michael Mullen, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, briefed President George W Bush and Robert Gates, the defence secretary.

Defence officials told the Los Angeles Times that the attack struck computers within the US Central Command, which oversees Iraq and Afghanistan, and involved malicious software - known as "malware" - that permeates a network.

"This one was significant, this one got our attention," said an official, speaking anonymously.

Officials did not disclose the extent of the damage and would not elaborate on the reasons for believing the assault originated in Russia.

The Pentagon and other US government departments face repeated cyber attacks, especially from Russia and China, either from individuals or indirectly from those countries' governments.

Within the past 18 months Russia has been accused of orchestrating major electronic attacks on neighbours Estonia and Georgia.

Italian Town Offers €2,000 to

Immigrants Who Will Leave

November 30, 2008 by BNP News

An Italian town has proposed giving jobless immigrants a one-off €2,000 euro payment as long as they agree to live elsewhere.

The town council is controlled by the Northern League, which has previously called on the Italian navy to sink boats trying to smuggle in illegal immigrants from North Africa.
